Our Speech and 1-Act Awards Ceremony will be held Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 6:00 pm at the Roseau First Baptist Church. 
You and your family are invited to attend. 
Please bring 1 dessert to share.

Practices will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday this week.

We will be taking a bus to Sections. 

The Section finalists, coaches, timers, and any Juniors or Seniors who didn't qualify are invited to come with us on 4-7-15 to Sections in Fosston.   Grades 7-10 who did not qualify will not be coming to this meet. 

Students are excused at 9:45 and the bus leaves at 10am (see earlier BlogSpot with specific schedule and times).

1-Act Speech students:  please meet in the Speech room right after school this Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Today:  Thursday, 2-5-15
Speech students going to the Crookston meet will get out of school at 12:45 today and will depart at 1:15.  The bus loads by the speech room.

Please note 1 change:  The DGF meet has been cancelled for this Saturday.

Reminder: 
No practice on Monday, January 19th. 


We will have practice on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Jan. 20-22).

The March 14 TRF Speech meet was cancelled BUT Warroad is going to host a meet that day so we will add that to our schedule!
Now our Speech schedule should be complete!

* The Subsections for the 1-Act play are the same day so we will have a smaller team.  We will have sign-ups for this meet in practice.  Please let me know if you intend to go and in what category you will compete.  This will get us going, folks!

Sweatshirts are $20 and the deadline to order and pay is Thursday, January 15th.  This will be a one time only order so don't delay.  Please make the check out me or give me cash as I will be paying for it personally.

Happy New Year 2015!


We have 2 Speech informational meetings coming soon:  Monday, January 5th and Wednesday, January 7th in Mrs. Hopkins' room at 3:20.  Parents are welcome.  I will have the competition books, some Speech pieces, and our Speech handouts for the year with the practice schedule and handbook.  I will post all of that info. on this site next week in case you have to miss.
