Please feel free to contact me anytime now with my new school email. I will be checking it daily.

I am excited to preview any scripts you have or answer any questions you have as well.
Our new assistant coach is Mrs. Heather Johnson. She comes from the cities, has her high school English teaching degree, and has previous experience in speech coaching. Perhaps you've met her as she subs in the Roseau High School from time to time. Heather is married to Kent (Family Life Pastor at Roseau First Baptist Church) and they have 3 beautiful children: Evie (Kindergarten/Roseau Elem.), Phin (age 3), and Adele (age 2). Both Heather and I can't wait to dig into this 2015 speech season!!
Dates to take notice of:
1st day of official speech practice is MONDAY, JANUARY 12 at 3:20pm.
Watch the school announcements and this blog for pre-season meeting dates! We will have at least 1 meeting in December and will also meet a few days immediately after school during the week of January 5-9th.
The Extemp. and Storytelling books are ordered and will be here soon. Let me know if you want to dig into these (as the official contest lists are posted now) and I'll get you a copy.

Greetings
*Greetings, fellow "speech-ers"*
I am happy to announce that I was officially hired today as the Roseau Rams head speech coach! I am creating this blog as a way for everyone to have a place to find information regarding our speech team and season. Please visit this BlogSpot regularly and spread the news of it. I plan on using this as a main way to stay in contact with each other and as a way to keep everyone up-to-date.
Remember, it's never too early to start thinking about which category you plan on pursuing this year and to start thinking about a book, poem, or play that suits you perfectly or a topic you'd like to write about. Here's to a great year ahead of us...!
